Once upon a time, I played drums for this band that played pretty damn good, marketable, heavy rock. We recorded a great CD too! It's still sonically polished all-round and one of the best capturings of my drumming yet...even if them hi-hats and ride are panned strangely, lol. I also believe our singer was at his absolute best on this recording, as was everyone else. It all just came together. Eternal gratitude to those responsible for funding much of this project - Chris Ochtyun and family - and our producer for making it happen - Tony Gammalo of Spider Studios. I was an ass back then and surely did not appreciate the scope of it.
Aura toured regionally and released a Self-titled LP in 2006 to a crowd of 1,500 at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown, OH. Unfortunately, we disbanded shortly thereafter.

What can I say? Oh, to be in my early 20's again. I didn't realize at the time that this would be such a formative and impactful period in music for me. Alias X toured regionally and had quite a bit of success sharing the stage with acts such as Three Days Grace, Thornley, Sponge, Smile Empty Soul, Hinder, Primer 55, Dope, Erase the Grey, Chiodos, and Slaves on Dope, to list a few. Alias X played several label showcases and in the end drama may have gotten the best of each of us. We had a great time while it lasted plus we had beyond awesome fans (thank you all)...and maybe, one Christmas, Santa will bring an Alias X-mas reunion show.
Members:
- Nick Miller (lead vocals)
